I'm looking forward to getting back to work today. Well, who wouldn't love spending their time surrounded by gorgeous original vintage wedding dresses?
January is our busiest time of year, and includes planning attendance at a few carefully-selected vintage wedding fairs - always fun! There are so many vintage wedding fairs now and they each have something to offer. But my favourite by far is the one held at Bristol Zoo.
This year's Bristol Vintage Wedding Fair is on Sunday 16th March at Clifton Pavilion, Bristol Zoo Gardens. I've exhibited there for the last four years, and it's always packed with terrific vintage wedding ideas and accessories. All the pretty photos on this blog post are from last year's show.
The show's organiser, Ali, is a lovely friendly lady who hand-picks her exhibitors to ensure she gets a perfect mix. Ali knows exactly how to make the day enjoyable for exhibitors and visitors alike.
The venue is light and airy, and I have my regular spot on the ground floor in the corner by the windows. Here, I'll have my full collection of around 70 original vintage wedding dresses. (I shall leave my new vintage inspired wedding dresses at home, but they can be seen online or at my studio in West London.)
